Access

From Point of East (Nagoya, Tokyo) to Kyoto Station

Take JR Tokaido Shinkansen "Nozomi" superexpress. Two hours 15-20 min from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station and about 35 min from Nagoya Station.

From Kansai Airport (KIX) to Kyoto Station

Take JR "Haruka" special express from Kansai Airport Station. One hour and 30 min to Kyoto Station. Leaves every 30 min during daytime. Last train departs at 22:14 from Kansai Airport Station.

From Kyoto Station

Train

Proceed to JR Nara Line on track 8-10. Take any train and get off at Tofukuji Station (next station, 3 min ride). Change to Keihan Line bound for Demachi Yanagi Station. You need to buy a separate ticket for Keihan line. Get off at Jingu-Marutamachi Station. 10 min walk to our campus. Service is frequent during daytime.

Bus

• 206 for Kitaohji Bus Terminal (via Higashi-Ohji not via Senbon Street): Exit station to Karasuma side (north side). Proceed to the bus terminal. The bus leaves from D2. Get off at Konoe-Dori (Konoe street). 2 min walk to our campus. Service is frequent but crowded and slow. See here for schedule.
• Kyoto University Hospital Liner (Hoop): Exit station to Hachijo side. Proceed to the bus terminal. The bus leaves from E1. Get off at Kyoto University Hospital. 6 min walk to our campus. Service is infrequent especially during daytime but fast. See here for schedule.

Building A 4F on medical school campus.

Shiran Kaikan Annex

If you take Keihan Line, it will be about 15 min walk from Jingu-Marutamachi Station.

If you take bus (any bus line above), please get off at Kyoto University. It will be about 1 min walk.
