Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Our laboratory was first launched in Massachusetts Institute of Technology in September, 2000. It was a part of RIKEN-MIT Neuroscience Research Center, The Picower Institute for Learning and Memory, within Department of Brain and Cognitive Science.

RIKEN

We moved to RIKEN Brain Science Institute located on Wako Campus of RIKEN on April, 2009. We initially named it as "Laboratory for Synaptic Function". Later with the expansion of our interest, we changed the name to "Memory Mechanisms".

Kyoto University

We moved again to Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine on April, 2017. We now operate under the name of Laboratory of Systems Neuropharmacology.
